exegetical fallacy

About Me

I am a PhD student in Aberdeen, Scotland, doing research in 'Paul and the Law' (specifically, 'The Use of Lev 18.5 in Early Jewish and Christian Interpretation') under Simon Gathercole. I'm originally from California, where I attended Bible College and Seminary at the Master's College/Seminary. My passion in life is to exalt Christ in all things; to understand, obey, and teach the Scriptures; to love my family, God's people, and all humanity, more than myself. I believe that God's word is supreme and has been majestically and perfectly manifested in his Son, the Word of God. As far as my future, I desire to teach in a University, College, or Seminary - i.e. whoever offers me a job when I get done with this thesis! As far as my 'blogger' name, Exegetical Fallacy, there is no intended allusion to D.A. Carson's book; Exegetical Fallacy is a habit I'm trying to quit, a habit that is best shed, I believe, when previous doctrinal traditions and beliefs are held onto loosely when approaching the Scriptures afresh. For His glory. ef

If there's no I in team, why is there meat?

Would a joint declaration on Justification REALLY unify the Church?
