Introduction	Forty-something, Navy wife, mom of six great kids, work-at-home, full-time student, slightly greying. I'm learning more about being the best Mom and wife I can be, and learning about being the woman God wants me to be. I have lots of interests and few things I am really good at doing. I blog for stress relief, but comments are nice, too!
Interests	I have a TON of interests that I don't necessarily get to do. Reading, sewing, baking, scrapbooking, Navy family support, keeping in touch with friends and family around the country.
Favorite Movies	The Princess Bride, A Few Good Men, Rudy, The Quiet Man, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Favorite Music	My favorite music is a mix...I like country, Contemporary Christian, classical, some jazz, and praise.
Favorite Books	Reading is ALWAYS important to me. Current favorites: Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World, and Woman First-Family Always. All-time favorites: The Bible, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Way Home, and Breaking Free.

Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.

I don't wear scarves because they make me feel like I am choking.
