| Introduction | In 2010 I attempted to ditch plastic from my life in an effort to raise awareness of the wastefulness of our society, the permanence of plastic and our dependence on fossil-fuels to the detriment of our own way of life as well as plastic clogged oceans. In 2012, climate change is more than ever becoming an issue that needs URGENT action and I am turning this blog to focus on informing people of what is going on and the little things we can all do to help build a critical mass and change the world. I am a writer, photographer, journalist, and a little bit of an environMENTAL hugger of trees and hope to incorporate all these skills into spreading the word to increase the movement.
