| Introduction | Hello! Thank you for visiting me in my ColorMe world. Ever since I was little, many years ago, I have loved to knit and crochet. There's something about the colors and feel of the yarns that motivates me to be creative. The bright colors the feel of the soft yarns all melting into one warm piece of clothing just makes my heart happy! I held my first pair of knitting needles when I was 5 years old. My Aunt would patiently teach me to purl one knit one on Sundays afternoon at my grandmother's house. I'm from Brazil, and my family on Sundays, would gather together for lunch/dinner at my grandmother's house. After lunch and the dishes where all put away, the women would sit together to knit and crochet or sew. I would alway love to sit by my Aunt and watch her knit, waiting for her to ask me if I wanted to knit a little with her. What joy that was for me and still is today anytime I finish a project. |
