Introduction I am a former university professor of marriage and family therapy and social science at three universities in West Virgina, Texas, and California. Developing social justice teams, writing and researching, advocating, and blogging have been parts of my life since 1993. My "day job" these days involves development of policy and programs for strong families for the Chickasaw Nation. My avocation is working on behalf of Black farmers.
