Introduction I’ve had the good fortune to design and art direct for clients in a broad range of creative environments, including advertising agencies, branding consultancies, in-house corporate communications departments, and for newspaper and magazine publishing companies. My journey as a designer has taken me to work in equally diverse destinations that include Dallas, Houston, New York City, Washington DC, Singapore, and Bangkok, Thailand. From 2010 to 2017 I worked as the sole marketing communications designer for the 12+ libraries of the Alachua County Library District and, along the way, became a nine-time national award recipient of the American Library Association / LLAMA PR Xchange award for excellence in the creation of public relations materials for libraries. If you have an interest in promotional marketing communication design for libraries, welcome to the blog and feel welcome to share your library or design industry experience. Note that if your comment links to a company website for any manner of creative support services, the comment will be not be accepted. If you are in need of library graphic design service, please feel welcome to contact me at scotsterling@mail.com.
