| Introduction | I was born and raised in Wisconsin; studied mime in Paris and dance in New York City where I drove a cab and imagined I was a costumed crime fighter known as The Yellow Falcon. The Yellow Falcon—that is, me—I lived in Brooklyn, almost under the Brooklyn Bridge, and after graduating from Hunter College, plied a trade as a graphic artist. I'm now back in the Midwest. Most recently I designed websites, and worried about usability, accessibility and how to test for those properties. Gladiator Girl is my first novel. |
