| Introduction | I am a multi-faceted woman who stumbled into the field of speech-language pathology completely by accident. Actually, I think the universe knew exactly what it was doing when it steered me in this direction. This field is the perfect blend of art, science, and humanity that promises to challenge, inspire, and enlighten me for the rest of my days! Although I do not know exactly where my career will take me, I do know that I want to make a difference in other’s lives…….provide encouragement, enthusiasm, an empathetic ear. My heart is especially touched by those with severe disabilities that make every aspect of life a challenge.
