Introduction George Daranyi was born in Peru in 1957. He is an attorney, intervention coordinator, lecturer, and workshop facilitator. In addition to legal work, Daranyi is a certified leader of men's educational trainings for The ManKind Project,Inc. Mr. Daranyi served as the Chairman of MKP from 2008-2011. Daranyi coordinates interventions for persons who are afflicted with a broad range of problems including alcoholism and addiction. Daranyi lectures in the areas of Self-Care, relapse prevention, spirituality and men's issues. His legal practice consists primarily in representing families whose members have contracted cancer as a result of the U.S. government's above ground nuclear testing. He also represents onsite testing participants, civil employees who handled nuclear materials and uranium miners, millers and ore transporters. Daranyi is married and has two daughters. From 1991-1996, he was General Counsel of NextHealth, Inc. Daranyi previcously worked as a litigation associate with Snell and Wilmer in Arizona and Cowles and Thompson in , Texas. Daranyi obtained his law degree from Southern Methodist University in 1983 and his Bachelor's of Arts Degrees from Hillsdale College in 1980.
