About Me
Garry J. Wise graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1984 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1986. He practices with Wise Law Office, a Toronto litigation firm founded by Garry in 1986, with focus on Employment Law, Family Law, Estate Litigation and Civil Litigation.
He is primary contributor to the award-winning Wise Law Blog, an online publication featuring timely legal news, updates and commentary.
Garry has contributed to Bar-eX News, Divorce Magazine, CCH Labour and Law Newsletter, Canadian Bar Association’s Solo and Small Firm Addendum E-newsletter and CCH’s Canadian Family Law Guide. He has appeared as a Continuing Legal Education speaker on Web 2.0 issues affecting the legal profession, and has been an occasional commentator on CBC TV, radio and other media. Garry has been featured in the National Post, Toronto Star, Lawyer's Weekly, Canadian Lawyer Magazine, CCH Student E-Monthly and Toronto's Now Magazine.
