About Me
Watch for my forthcoming book, "The Work of Death: For God, Family and Country" coming in 2010. I'm in the doc film Please Remove Your Shoes (2010). I've blogged for The Washington Times (Aviation Security), and have been on CNN.com as the leading story (and AC-360), as well as CBS (Miami & Chicago) and Fox (Tampa) for other stories. I've worked as a security contractor for the U.S.-led 'Roadmap to Mideast Peace' in Israel and Palestine. I've also worked as a SWAT team leader and undercover Federal Air Marshal. My master's degree is in Military Studies and terrorism, with a concentration in special operations. I've lectured on topics from school shootings to identifying suicidal terrorists. I served as an officer in Iraq with the U.S. Army Reserves (2007-08). I've been Scuba diving and skydiving. I've trained with members of the U.S. Olympic Ski Team, and have led horseback riding trips in Colorado. I'm a professionally-trained driver. I'm a FBI-trained crisis negotiator, and my wife and I have five kids and two dogs.
