| Introduction | Born in Fabens, Texas . Residing in Sonora, Mexico. In 1983 studied Fine Arts in New York. Two years later she attended the sculpture workshop in the Academy of Fine Arts in the Universidad de Sonora. In 1986 she joined the Sonoran Association of Fine Arts (Asociación Sonorense de Artes Plásticas) in 1992 she became President of this association. A teacher of Art Appreciation in elementary school, high school, university, as well as teaching several independent classes. She has created Public Murals and space interventions. She has created illustrations for books and magazines on a state and national level. And her Poetry has been published " Amor en Eter" (Love in Ether) by the University of Sonora. She has participated as a theater, stage and costume designer and has won recognitions, and government funds for special projects. As well, she has participated collective shows ans one person art shows in the state, as in other parts of Mexico, United States and Europe. |
