About Me

Part I - Mele Cotte (which means Baked Apple in Italian): I love to bake. In fact, truth be told, I would love to leave my public education heels at the main office and slip into a pair a Dansko clogs behind my own bakery display case. But, should my lil' dream be in my stars, that remains to be seen. Until then, I have decided to change my journaling blog into a personal cooking journey. This blog will compel me to pay heed to the recipes I try/create, yet can never duplicate because I "wing" it each time. Part II - The Alter Ego I am at a crossroads between two passions - being an educator and baking. To help some of my angst, I began Mele Cotte. Now, as I work out which direction I want to go, Alter Ego allows me to be....just me. Or, at least figure out who the heck "me" is!
