Introduction	I am married to a wonderful man, Michael Burk. I practice veterinary medicine in Fort Worth, TX. We currently have 3 "boys", our dogs Herman and Clovis, and our son Ezra (adopted from Ethiopia in December 2008)and we're currently in the process of adopting a baby girl through domestic "foster to adopt".
Interests	Reading, travel, being outdoors with my family and our dogs, blogging, digital scrapbooking, SHOPPING!!!
Favorite Movies	Predator, Jaws, The Professional, Gone With The Wind, Braveheart, Peter Pan, any Harry Potter, there are sooooo many!
Favorite Music	I like most music, but I love Jeff Buckley, the Beatles, Frank Sinatra, David Grey, Harry Conick Jr., The Red Stick Ramblers, zydeco, Incubus, Perfect Circle, Third Day, celtic music, J.J Heller, again this is so hard to list.
Favorite Books	Harry Potter!!! I love James Patterson, Michael Connelly, Sophie Kinsella, Steve Alten, Eion Colfer, Rick Riordan, memoirs of child soldiers of Sierra Leone, Uganda, Sudan or those who were subjected to the Cultural Revolution or Khmer Rouge's control. Stories of oppression and faith and ulimately the resolution of the human spirit.
