| Introduction | Asif Iqbal is one of the first two Pakistanis who joined Al Gore’s global campaign on Climate Change during the 2009 Asia-Pacific Summit on Climate Change in Melbourne, Australia. Since then he started his campaign “Climate Project Connectors” in Pakistan. In this campaign he works with faith communities, civil society, women, youth and students mobilize action on climate change. His campaign initiatives include; Make Your Own Climate Volunteers, My Faith Leader My Climate Advocate, Restore Climate Change Ministry in Pakistan, Ask PM Sign the Paris Agreement, Paint A Train with Climate Change Messages etc. Asif was one of the 22 selected Climate Leaders who together with Al Gore talked live to 8.6 million online audiences and unveiled the updated version of the Slideshow on climate change featured in the Academy Award-Winning documentary “Inconvenient Truth”. Asif loves photography of Nature, travelling and learning in cross cultural environment! |
