| Introduction | I'm a Mom, Grandma and wife. I live a fairly simple life, yes I like nice things in fact very nice things but isn't that the American Dream? My Husband works very hard, long hours and has traveled with his job most of our married life but he does this so we can live a comfortable life. Recently with the economy he has lost a huge portion of his income that has always allowed us to have the extra fun things. Now that we don't have that income making ends meet has brought us back to where we were financially at the beginning of our lives together not unlike most everyone else who has struggled. The only difference now is we have all these extras to pay for. If anyone had told me 2 years ago I would be in this situation I would have laughed. Now we are both stressed over money and who to pay and not to pay which as everyone knows causes issues in a marriage. So, here I am going up against "the man" and if we all do this together we can right a wrong. |
