About Me

I serve as Chief Knowledge Officer at the 1,500 lawyer, Pittsburgh based firm of Reed Smith, LLP. Previously I was the CKO at Sheppard Mullin. Before joining Sheppard Mullin, I held a senior level position at Foley and Lardner. Prior to that, I consulted for 7 years with law firms and corporate legal departments. I've done over 100 articles and presentations at conferences. I'm the Regional Vice President of the International Legal Technology Association. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California, graduating in the top 10% of my class.

• I was named 2005 Legal IT Innovator of the Year by the Legal IT Forum and was featured on the cover of the Nov/Dec 2005 issue of Law Firm Inc.; I was a member of the management team that won the CIO 100 Award in 2002 from CIO Magazine; I'm a member of the Law Technology News Editorial Advisory Board
