About Me
I am the mother of two; a 14 year old and a 22 year old. I have known my husband since 5th grade; he rode a banana seat bike back then. I love to laugh. Life is amazing. I believe in the power of simple things -- like leafs. Was knocked down by one once. It changed my life. Transformed our family. My show is the result of that leaf thing. You might say I had other plans; catering. I took a faith walk instead. I'm still faith walking. I went out on a limb. Asked my son what I should call my blog. "What title would tell parents something about me as a mother?" My son laughed, "iovercookedmyfamily.com". I am interested in talking to other parents because quite frankly I think that is the recipe for greater joy -- for us all.
