Introduction	I am interested in giving new life to old recipes connected to my family or to New England and the Canadian Maritimes. I primarily focus on making the recipes my great-grandmother placed within the pages of her 1908 Lowney's Cookbook. In addition to sharing my attempts to decipher old instructions or simply posting recipes, I also hope to offer readers some history of the dishes or the persons who once kept these recipes in their kitchens. From time to time I expect to comment on forgotten or long beloved restaurants too.
