Middle-aged Middle-westerner, retired Marine and Detroiter who somehow wound up in a farm village of 900 people. My hobbies are military history and needlework. I share the bungalow with the Spousal Unit, Primary Cat (aka the Drama Queen), Reserve Cat, Funnyface, our year-old 105-lb German Shepherd and Babyface, our new German Shepherd puppy. I have a collection of vintage cooking and needlework books (sewing, knitting, tatting) that I hope to share with like-minded individuals.
