| Introduction | Hello, my name is Laureen, and I am a bibliophile. I’m a 30-year-old single woman, with two great kids, and I love to read. I’ll read just about anything, including the dictionary (which I did once in elementary school because the boys were teasing me for reading all the time, and again in high school when I started a book of really cool words that I liked). I was the kid in school who was constantly getting into trouble for reading instead of paying attention, and I don’t regret a thing! Of course, now it’s my kids who are the ones in trouble with reading, so my mom tends to laugh at me. A lot. (Okay, so my daughter is a budding bibliophile and gets in trouble for reading in class, and my son is a reluctant reader unless he’s cuddling with me.) |
