About Me

A mathematics teacher since 1994. After joining teaching profession I realized two things. First one- there is so much which is still to be learned and the second one - there is no standard method for teaching .Each day a new challenge randomly comes forward . For overcoming, there is a need to explore, learn and change. In a classroom there are different types of learner’s viz. average performers, high achievers or those who are struggling for understanding concepts. So, a wise teacher will not claim for a fixed strategy for everyone. A balance is required between two most important things –knowing the type of learner and choosing a suitable strategy. The main aim of creating this blog is to share and find new strategies in the teaching/learning of mathematics for removing so called "The Mathematics Phobia".
