| Introduction | I am blogging on behalf of Xoolon, a company which aims to improve the quality of physical education provision in the UK, get more young people involved in sport and hopefully discover some talent along the way! Xoolon facilitates personal performance profiling and matches physical and mental attributes to sports. Young people can create their own sporting profiles, allowing them to track their progress, compare themselves to their friends and find out which sports might be for them. The hope is that this will provide young people with an incentive to improve and the confidence to get involved. There really is a sport for everybody! Registered teachers and coaches can access a database of their pupils sporting stats, allowing for the creation of more personalised and better focused PE provision. Every aspect of Xoolon is fully customisable, so it is possible to incorporate it seamlessly into existing PE strategy. This blog will focus on some of the issues around sport and society which motivate us here at Xoolon.
