Madeline Moore

About Me

While studying creative writing with D.M.Thomas, author of 'The White Hotel', I was told that I write 'great sex without metaphor, which isn't easy to do.' I went on to study writing erotica with Felix Baron. A couple of my short stories were published, under the name Madeline de Chambrey. I pitched an idea for an erotic novel to Black Lace, and, though they liked the novel, they thought the penname Madeline de Chambrey was 'too silly', so I became Madeline Moore. My first erotica novel, 'Wild Card' was published in 2006. A section from the novel was selected by Scarlet Magazine for 'best oral sex scene' and, as a friend pointed out, an award-winning author was born! My second Black Lace novel, 'Amanda's Young Men' was released in the UK in July, 2008 and will be published in the US and Canada at the end of March, 2009. I'm presently working on my third novel for Black Lace, 'Sarah's Education.'

Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?
