I'm an academic interested in film, paganism and the occult, as well as a freelance writer. I am a published poet and singer and collector of traditional songs. I enjoy life most of the time and am rarely bored. I'm into sacred sites and earth mysteries. I love visionaries and hate litterbugs. My friend Hannah (blog partner on the Celluloid Bough) and I have collaborated on a number of academic projects, including an anthology on teenage witchcraft and one on HBO's Carnivale, and shall happily continue with our evil plan to take over the world. Also: I am a pagan, I love apples, and consider preservation of the natural environment the most important issue facing our world.
