The Volunteer Center is a non-profit organization based in Bergen County, NJ. Our mission is to strengthen the community by connecting people with opportunities to serve, operating model volunteer programs, building capacity for effective volunteering, and participating in partnerships that meet community needs. Our online searchable database of hundreds of volunteer opportunities is available 24/7 at www.bergenvolunteers.org. We offer many ways that people can get out there and volunteer – and we offer training to help them do it. We also offer training for organizations and companies so they can better utilize volunteers' good intentions.
