Introduction	Gil is a graduate of the Mapua Institute of Technology, where he studied Electrical Engineering from 1975-1980. In 1981 he passed the board of electrical engineers' licensure examination given by the Philippine Regulation Commission. Among his awards, consistent First Honor - Primary School, Valedictorian - Secondary School and also holder of some academic awards. Currently working in Jubail, Saudi Arabia as Construction Manager at Thales Security Solutions & Services Co. Previously worked in Doha, Qatar as a Sr. Telecoms Project Engineer at the Apollo Telecoms Company. Married with three children.
