About Me

It began more than a year ago, when I launched a blog in Lithuanian with an ambition to change the perception of emigrants back home - we used to be called traitors or cowards. I don't know anymore if I'm having any success in my pursuit. I started blogging in English last year and was shortlisted in the Irish Blog Awards 2008 in the Best Blog from a Journalist Category. I didn't win. So I'll continue blogging until I do and migration issues start coming out of your and my ears. Ok, I've promised myself to not bore you with migrant propaganda too much. So I'll just continue to post ponderings of a foreigner wandering the streets of Dublin. Or some other places. Subjective rantings from a journalist stuck in a wine shop.
