Introduction From sweatpants to dress pants, life in the 'real world' is in full force! I am truly learning what that really means. Amidst the hustle and bustle of city life, hours in traffic, and getting up when it is still dark out-I continue to love Chicago and feel I am where I am supposed to be for now. I began working 4, 10 hour days (and have Friday's off) and have picked up registry work at RUSH Medical Center, one of the nation's top hospitals. Instead of spending my life in class, I spend it working. Instead of spending my evenings studying, I spend it trying new recipes for dinner, reading, attending yoga and pilates classes at my gym, occasionally writing a report or two, or just going to bed before 10pm. It has been a long journey, but I am finding it exhilarating to really begin a 'real' life of my own, even though it consists of paying bills, loans, and all of the real world stuff that comes with it. Everyone keeps saying that your "20's" are the best years. I definitely agree, even though "20 something" can feel like "20 everything!"
