| Introduction | My name is Mark Pesses. I was born on Feb 20 1949 in Davenport, IA. I spent my first 18 years living in Rock Island, IL and went to Rock Island Sr High School, where I was on the cross country and track teams and statition for the basketball team. I want to the University of Iowa where I got a BS in Astronomy and a MS and a PhD in Physics. I was on the Power Lifting team and competed in the 1975 National Championship meet. I was Science writer for the college newspaper. I am married and have 2 daughters. When my daughters swim I made it to a US Swimming National Championship certified Stroke & Turn Judge. |
