| Introduction | Hello, I’m Joe Ellis, Senior Vice President at CBIZ. I work with businesses to create and manage meaningful employee benefit plans. One unique specialty is employee health risk management programs. We assess the health of a client’s entire population, categorize the risks and suggest methods to mitigate them. For a broader and more aggressive approach we also install employer on-site medical clinics. Many employers miss this idea, thinking they are too small. My team handles laws and regulations and their impact on business metrics. We are always looking for an employer willing to participate in our “Ten Percent in Three Years” challenge; our goal is to lower a company’s health care spend 10 percent in three years. I have addressed various trade and industry groups including: The Employers Council on Flexible Compensation, Unum‘s National Brokers Conference, NFP Financial, Association of Legal Administrators and Mid-Atlantic Employers Association. I have been featured on the cover of Employee Benefit Adviser magazine, received media exposure on outlets such as MSNBC.com and Thomson Reuters and appeared on FOX 29 News. |
