| Introduction | What can I say… I spent my upbringing in many different countries before coming back to Canada for university. I have lived in: Malawi, Zimbabwe, Singapore, Ecuador, Russia, Hungary and now Canada. While I identify as Canadian I often feel more comfortable hanging out with expats who are from Canada. Having said that, the longer I’m here the more and more “Canadian” I feel. I graduated from McGill with a degree in Political Science and subsequently completed a post grad degree in Journalism at Concordia. I am currently waiting on a job with the Department of Foreign Affairs as a Media Analyst. In the meantime I have been continuing my job in the Canadian Forces as an Infantry Officer (Reserve stream). I'll work for the next year and a half and then complete a Masters degree in Global Politics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. I like good stories, intl pol., writing, sports, exercising, photography, Russian lit, and I am a die-hard Habs fan. I see this blog as a forum and space in which I can share my thoughts on specific issues with people. I only write when I get that burst of inspiration so sometimes the posts are a little sporadic. |
