About Me

I am an artist focusing on felt making techniques including wet felting, needle felting by hand and machine, and fulled knitting. My interest in fiber arts began four years ago when I taught myself to knit in order to teach my daughter. I was completely surprised by how much I loved knitting. Since then, one thing has led to another: knitting to fulled knitting to traditional wet felting and needle felting by hand and machine. I blog mostly for my own benefit, as a sort of journal of my art and art experiments, but if you read, I hope you enjoy and comment. I live in the upper midwest with my husband and six children. I have been known to knit while waiting in the carpool line after school.
