About Me

Prior to being a wife and mother to two adorable kids, I was a college teacher where I was head of the Piano Department at San Jacinto College in Houston, TX for 7 years. Chamber music performances and teaching occupied most of my time...until I met Gary on a blind date in June 1996. Three months later we married and I left Texas kicking and screaming-displaced Texans know what I mean! Since Gary was based in Atlanta as an architectural photographer, I came to make my home in Georgia. In 2003 Gary came to a fork in the road career-wise, which brought us up to Blue Ridge and we've never looked back!
