I am interested in many areas of science and philosophy. I am a sceptic and would define my world view as naturalistic/materialistic. All beliefs are provisional and knowledge transitory. Evidence is required.

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?

Perhaps because when you loose a tooth you taste some blood. Blood contains haemoglobin which contains iron. Pennies taste metallic like iron.

• I am interested in many areas of science and philosophy. I am also interested in less noble pursuits like socialising with like minded individuals and having a good time. Volatile hydroxyl compounds are always welcome.
