| Introduction | By all accounts, I should be a Democrat, having grown up in a poor family, living with a physical handicap, and being an artist. But by applying logic and studying the effects of history, it is clearly obvious to me that conservatism holds a far better answer to life than liberalism or the solutions that Democrats propose. I come from an illustration background. For many years, I worked both as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, creating illustrations for clients like Embassy Suites, Frontier Airlines, and Primedia. In 1996, I submitted a cartoon to my local newspaper regarding a stadium tax the city wanted to impose on the citizens. To my surprise, they published it. Though nothing came of it at that time, I treasured the experience. Today, I would like to take my love of politics and art and begin a career as a conservative political cartoonist. It is about time the RIGHT perspective was inked. |
