Introduction I am Oceanna, and I live somewhere between the sea and the realm of possibility. Play with me, laugh with me, in waves capped with foam, I am a mermaid and this is my home.
Interests I adore walking along the sea's edge, the sensation of the sand sinking beneath my bare feet, as the waves roll up to kiss my toes... dolphins, whales and seashells... hugs and kisses from my kids... the fragrance of old Roses...such Bliss...and Lilacs and Lavender, just as delightful...Hyacinths...mmm and Violets...and Sweet Peas!.....I do Love Flowers. crisp clean cotton sheets that have dried on the clothesline... sculpting... painting... paper arts... swimming and playing in the ocean... the first snowfall of winter... the sight, sound and scent of huge waves crashing onto shore... Earth's fragrance after a summer's rain... the feel of Rose petals...so silky... violent thunder and lightening storms at night... snowstorms that cancel all plans for the day... poetry... body boarding... yoga... tai chi... the crisp cool days of Autumn as the leaves begin to turn... full moon ecstasy... a huge field full of pumpkins...oh what a site to behold... kittens and cats...I have 6! What can I do? They keep showing up on my doorstep looking for a home... the colours purple, blue, green, teal, periwinkle, pink, silver, creamy whites and black... reading... foot massages... nautical antiques... the feel of my long hair blowing in the wind... the taste of fresh, home grown vegetables... seaside saltspray... playing in the dirt also known as gardening to some... beading... fresh fruit in the summer, especially cherries, oh and watermelon, canteloup, grapes, and of course strawberries and peaches mmmm I love fresh fruit and veggies! the smell of homemade bread baking in the oven of my wood cookstove... building sandcastles at waters edge, then waiting for the tide to wash them away... staying up late and sleeping in, an everyday occurance in my world... breakfast in bed... long hot baths on cold winter nights and solitude ....lots of solitude!
