Once upon a time,I taught high school students in a private military boarding school.My subject was biology--the most fun class in the curriculum because students enjoy doing things--they're not good listeners.I stopped teaching early on,I suppose, compared to most. Since then, I've enjoyed others projects and volunteer activities.I have a wonderful marriage to a tall Texan.He's my best friend. My children are grown--thank God--and are very capable adults.Friends are very important to me--I value the time we spend together and the ways we support each other. When I'm not in the air, on the road, or on the high seas, I write.
