About Me

Angela Navarra AKA Signorina Navarra is a 1980s child and was born in the swamp lands of Secaucus New Jersey. She grew up immersed in Italian culture and a has a deep fascination for the eccentric and bizarre. Navarra received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She has lingered in the New York/New Jersey area for most of her life with the exception of a two year stint spent in Los Angeles to broaden her horizon. Navarra is a graphic designer/illustrator and finds inspiration everywhere she goes. You will rarely run into her without a camera, sketch book, homemade snack bars and a plan for an upcoming road trip. She is psychotically passionate about typography and revels in any opportunity she gets to use her hand-lettering skills.
