Introduction Jerónimo Rodríguez Naranjo was born in Santiago, Chile. He currently works as a host/critic on the film review television program, Take One, on NY1 Noticias in New York City. He also contributes as a film columnist for various publications, including People en Español Magazine, Sports Illustrated Latino, Capital Magazine and El Nuevo Canon. Recently he has been moderator and guest in film panels at Rey Juan Carlos I Center at New York University and The New School University. In addition he is script and editing advisor on the feature film Huacho, which was selected at Cannes 2009 Critics' Week (Semaine de la Critique), Toronto International Film Festival and won several awards and funds, including the 2008 Sundance Film Festival/NHK International Filmmakers Award, the World Cinema Fund (Berlin Film Festival), Arte Cinema and Fonds Sud Cinéma. He also has produced and directed the shorts Felipe, Around, Scan and 36 Times, with support from the screenplay writing FONDART Award, Fondo para las Artes Visuales del Gobierno de Chile. Jeronimo moved to the U.S. after graduating from law school.
