| Introduction | The Bird's Nest was initially a name given to my business back in the early 90's. Comparing my bringing treasures home to that of a little bird weaving pretty string into her nest, and the brilliant findings brought home by the magpie. My jewelry design started by remaking new jewelry from broken vintage jewelry. I have since added other randomly found objects. My work has been shown in Lincoln, Crete and Seward Nebraska art galleries. The vintage collectable facet of our business had made us tenants of a few antique malls in Lincoln, Crete and Beatrice, Nebraska. I am a part-time para-educator. Hubby and I enjoy local open mic nights and catching up with family and friends. Our current project is renovating an old horse trailer into a mobile store. |
