| Introduction | I’m a dedicated collector of trading cards based on the characters from the ‘Marvel Universe’. I got the 'fever' in 1992 when my eldest son came home with a couple of packs of Marvel Universe III cards. When we opened them up, I was blown away! Here were trading cards depicting the super heroes of my youth (I had been a dedicated reader of the early Marvel Comics in the early 1960’s) and I never knew that these types of cards even existed! Well needless to say, I was entranced! Over the past 17+years I have built a terrific collection of Marvel Trading Cards and, now that I'm retired, I’ve started to refocus on my hobby …… with a passion! Some of my other major interests include: my family, my German Shepherd dog ‘Sadie’, Ebay auctions (have to feed that collecting ‘addiction’!!), surfing the web and digital photography. |
