| Introduction | I am French and Irish born in Southern California yet spent a great number of years in the bay area of Northern California. When I moved back to the Southern part in 1986-87 I was on the brink of a new life. I have two children a son Travis and a daughter Hannah who have a beauty for expressing who they are. I am passionate in the field of interior design I use my creative energy decorating estate model homes and residential enjoying every bit of the journey along the way. A design shop in the bay area co-opted with my Mother was probably the strongest influence in the start of it all. Now I have started Burlap Luxe in Southern California with the help of my daughter Hannah and I am helping her to find as much passion she can along the way. I am an artist in trompe l'oeil and faux painting, my alter ego and free spirit allows me to paint in my imagination with a dramatic artful passion for European flea market style. My favorite time of any day is to be able to fit in time to create. I love to recycle and restyle found objects of desire they then find their way into the hands of a new place to rest. |
