| Introduction | Born in Prague and transplanted to America at 7 I learned English as a subject in school...and it became my favorite and a staple in my life. I marvel at the deft use of language to elicit thoughts and emotions. Also being an art student and appreciator I admire even more the intricate coupling of clever writing and marvelous visuals as in my favorite medium: film. Career-wise I have always been a writer and editor - sometimes an artist, often a teacher - now and then a consultant - and once or twice a fundraiser. I believe in volunteerism. I believe we all have something special to give. I believe that one person CAN make a difference. |
