About Me
Trying my best to age with class, if not enthusiasm. I taught piano and music theory (history, harmony, etc.) while my four children were young and then completed my BA once my youngest was in school. Then my MA, then my PhD (in Canadian Literature) and now I'm happily teaching at a small university. All made possible by a supportive husband. We split our time between a small West Coast island in BC near where I work and our apartment in Vancouver where he works-- our three daughters live and work there, our son works in Victoria. Really lucky, I know!
