Interests	Geoscience: Fractals, plate tectonics (including reconstrucitons hotspots, intracontinental stresses, with interpretive console software). Faith and reason, science and art: consilience via fractals and information entropy: paradigms, musical theater, natural selection, and earthquakes as primary exemplars.
Favorite Movies	All Astaire/Rogers, Marx Brothers, Cary Grant with either Hepburn, American in Paris, Band Wagon, Casablanca, 2001, Lord of the Rings, and (yes) Harry Potter series.
