| Introduction | The "Book of Don" is - as John Grierson famously described the documentary craft, "a creative interpretation of reality." The posts in this blog are drawn from The Journal I've kept since my entry into this industry in the late 1970s. I am writing it for today's wave of brave newcomers in the hope that their life-and-times may be as interesting and rewarding as mine have been - although perhaps, just a little less of a roller coaster. Most of what you'll read is true. All of what you'll read is my own fault. There will be no fine cut. |
