Introduction | I coached swimming for over 30 years having worked with great swimmers in Quebec, Peru, Montreal, Vancouver, Dallas, Austin, L.A. and Seattle. My highlights were each swimmer's individual moments spanning completing a lap butterfly to top 6 in the world and the 1984 Olympics. Retired in 1996, my wife, Kate, and I started a family and have 2 children. After remodeling our house, I met a savant enologist, Cheryl Jones who has led me to my path of wine. I started volunteering on bottle lines locally in 2003 and making wines with 4 friends. Now I make wine for 3000 friends. I also enjoy wines from everybody else. Just because a man can sing, does not mean he hears only his music. My greatest return is to receive the bottle from a home wine maker to share. I am about family, people and animals, then the Dallas Cowboys! My vacation is camping in the San Juan Islands and my philosophy is to leave the campsite better than I found it. A life goal; n'est ce pas? |
