Introduction | I was born and raised in Orange, Texas which is on the Gulf Coast (literally). When I was 12 my family moved to Maryland. We were involved in Civil War re-enactments. It was a lot of fun camping and dressing up in Southern Belle dresses. I was also very active in my high school's marching band. Later on we moved to Illinois. After I graduated I went to Ricks College in Idaho. After receiving my Associates Degree I then finished my education at Brigham Young University. I taught elementary school in Idaho, Virginia and Utah for a total of 20 years. I'm married in 1982 to my college sweetheart, Jim. In 1990 I gave birth to a beautiful daughter, Sadie-Anne. She's 21. I had to retire from teaching due to a debilitating disease called RSD- reflex sympathetic dystrophy. In the summer of 2001 our home burned to the ground in 3 hours. We lost everything. Jim designed the house we are living in now. We live in a beautiful valley. We love to go to Yellowstone Park as often as we can. It's a place of serenity and fond memories. |
