|Occupation||Stay at home mom, of course|
|Location||The Pacific Northwest, United States|
|Introduction||You'll get to know more about me as you read my FASCINATING postings! I am a Registered Nurse, currently unemployed for the first time ever! I really, really, really want to get my advanced degree and become a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner. This life-long dream will wait until my kids aren't as young. Oh yes, and until we can afford it. Probably about the time my husband can buy his own AIRPLANE.|
|Interests||Reading, cross-stitching (current projects are STILL elaborate christmas stockings), quilting (when available and with family/friends), skiing (when athletic), sports (yes, believe it or not), scenic drives, social gatherings, my church (past and current, games|
|Favorite Movies||Always risky to admit this....these are in no particular order and I'm sure I'll forget some...Lord or the Rings Trilogy (absolute favorite there), Braveheart, Private Eyes (Tim Conway & Don Knots), Monty Python Search for the Holy Grail, Dumb & Dumber (hard to admit), almost anything with Chris Farley, Will Farrell, or Ben Stiller.|
|Favorite Music||Too varied to list...Suffice to say I have a little of everything. It's easier to say what I don't like, but I'd rather keep it to myself for now. I hate the Barney theme song.|
|Favorite Books||Lord of the Rings, Kissed the Girls and Made them Cry (by Lisa Bevere..a must read if you have daughters!), Farewell to Arms, Tear Soup, Raising Boys, and authors such as Patricia Cornwell, Robert Ludlum, James Patterson, Nicholas Sparks, Richard Evans, and Colleen McCollough.|
When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?
Pull your ear straight back (or back and up for a child) to straighten the ear canal, and tip your head to the affected side. Usually works.
